Slow food

At Cloudsong we are passionate about real food. Carlo Petrini began Slow Food as a response to MacDonalds plan to open in Rome and under the Slow Food banner people come together to share their pleasure in growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing food. There is good health and great camaraderie to be found in all of those food related activities.

Kangaroo Valley and the surrounding farms, rivers and ocean abound in a huge variety of delicious foods and wines. We also have superb chefs to inspire us in new ways to cook and serve these foods.

At Cloudsong our guests enjoy the best ham from Mauger's Meats at Burrawang, local free range eggs from Kangaroo Valley hen yards, pure fruit jams from local jam makers and home made bread from Cloudsong. Delicious fresh chocolate from Berry, excellent wines and produce from Yarrawa Winery and cheeses to die for from Small Cow Farm at Robertson - all these for your enjoyment when you visit our wonderful area.
